Development of ERSNA Climbing Management Plan

Enchanted Rock is currently under a bolting moratorium while TPWD works to implement a Climbing Management Plan (CMP).  The CTCC offered TPWD a suggested beginning template for the CMP on Saturday 30-April-2011.  Please note that this is a suggestion only.  If you would like to review it and the cover letter that accompanied the suggested CMP, please click on the file-download links below.

20th Annual Granite Gripper online registration open!

*** UNIQUE FORMAT FOR THIS YEAR'S EVENT ***

 

To honor the tradition of being a well-rounded climber, this year all categories will include roped climbing and bouldering.

 

Similar format to Grippers of Old (retro-lists included bouldering and rope climbing).

 

Scores will be a combination of your top 3 roped climbs and top 2 boulder Problems.


Come out and Celebrate 20 years of Granite Gripping and Supporting Enchanted Rock!


We hope to see you once again at our beloved Enchanted Rock State Natural Area for the longest running trad comp in North America as we host a fundraiser for the Friends of Enchanted Rock and work to benefit our gorgeous resource once again.  So come help to keep the Rad in Trad!  Saturday October 22, 2011.  Click on either of the fists above to pre-register online so you can rest easy the day of this fine event.
